Before We Start

It is time for you to learn cube notation. Which is critical as we move forward from this point. Cube notation is kind of like musical notes. It is how cubers communicate moves and turns with each other. Just as musical notes tell a musician which notes to play, cube notation tells cubers how to rotate their cubes. To practice cube notation, we will be learning your first algorithm, which is a very important trigger called the “sexy” move. This trigger will be used repeatedly throughout your cubing journey as you become more advanced. For now, just practice it, and get the muscle memory down. In later videos, Mr. Bertoch will teach you how to use this trigger in your solves.
