This mastery badge builds on our understanding of living things. Previously we learned how living things are made up of cells, and how energy in cells is created by the mitochondria burning sugar. In this mastery badge we will examine how this energy moves through an environment from one organism to another. By the time you complete it, you will need to understand that some living things consume while others produce. You will need to be able to create a model demonstrating your understanding, including what the 10% rule is, and what it means to living things.
